Post by parisa » Sat Jul 18, 2009 2:32 am

Hi!! I'm now on a student visa. I met my bf which is English in aug 2006 which is nearly 3 years and we have been living together for over 2 years. I would like to apply for an unmarried partner visa but i do not know if i have enough evidence as i never collected any bills sending to my house.
These are the document i have :
1. GP registeration form from aug 2008.
2 council tax bill from period of 13 november 2007 to 31 march 2008
3. the hsbc bank book which send to the address morris drive ( a house we rented during nov 2007 to may 2008.
4. bank statement from 19 dec 08 to 27 feb 09 (natwest), from 24 march to 23 april (HSBC)
5. A furniture bill in my name sending to our current address on 27 aug 2008.
6. Another furniture bill (online) in my name sending to our house while we renting on 2007.
6. We can get the letter from neighbour, parents, friends and landlord (during the period we rent the house in nov2007.
6 joint bank account which open on 1 july 2009.
7. I also have all e-mail,msn, card for every occasions and postcard i send to uk while am on a holiday in my home country which state quite clearly that we lived together.

You may have been living together for over two years, which is definitely a criterion for unmarried partner visa. But the problem you may face is proving it! You will need to provide documentary evidence that goes at least as far back as August 2007. Judging from your post, you don't seem to have that. So maybe it's best you wait a few more months, gather enough documentary evidence, and then apply. Better than applying now, being refused, and losing your application fee in the process. Good Luck!
