Swiss Schengen Question - Work, Business or what?

My Russian partner here with me in UK on PSW visa works for a Swiss company here in the Leeds area.

She already has a German-issued Schengen visit visa which is still valid and has already been used to visit Germany.

Now her employers, who know her visa status but really have no idea of the practicalities of it, want her to go to Switzerland for some training in SAP.

What do u guys recommend? I know she'll get away with using the current visa, but we want to be super-clean - is this a Schengen Business visa or even a Swiss Work Permit requirement?
