Cancel online application and Reapply

Hi,
There is an option in the website https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/AppProce ... tment.aspx
to cancel or change a visa appointment.

When you try to cancel an appointment it shows as
Your Visa Appointment booking is complete. You can cancel the appointment you made here if you need to. You must however book another appointment to complete your Visa Application.
Your Visa Application form is complete but your chosen location requires you to make an on-line payment. You can continue to make your on-line payment here.


Would this cancel the application? I want to apply freshly. I had done a mistake in specifying my middle name in the Given Names section.

In the given name section, I just put my first name but not my Middle name. (In my passport, Given Name is a combination of First and middle name)
I am very much concerned regarding this.. I havent paid money online yet.

Please let me know

I think it will just cancel the appointment, while application will remain same. You cannot change anything in completed online application form. However, it is possible that you can correct the mistake on printed out online application form. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/faqs/onlineforms/20891907 .

I can keep the appointment the same. I dint cancel yet.

As application cannot be cancelled at any stage, I will keep the appointment date the same and write it on the online printed application as you said.

But should I put a note on Cover letter Or would it be better to mention on a fresh Page stapled on the application form that there is a mistake while filling online application form and thats why I had write.

Please guide me in this as its v imp .

It would be obvious in application form, so I think you do not need to mention it again in cover letter. However, you should write it exactly at the place of mistake, in printed online application form. This is not a big issue. The visa they will issue you, will be based on the name written on your passport, and will be same with any previous visas. That was just a mistake, which can be overcome by following UKvisainfo's advice: hand-write it if there is any mistake.

I am all set for the application. I have 2 things which I wanted to ask you

1) Regarding Maintainence funds, as you know I am submitting BANK eStatements signed and stamped by customer service for the past 12 months (Actually this covers both ie Previous earnings and Maintaince funds too).

Again do we need letter from Bank manager giving Proof that these funds are available in the bank and it was never less than XXX amount or whatever?

2) Regarding Photo Copies, you mentioned earlier that photo copies of orignals have to be taken ie 1 Set
a) I have copies of Educational certificates (photocopies)
b) Pay slips photocopies
C) Letters from employers confirming my net and gross pay.(Photocpies)

I am submitting estatements right. Its bunch of set (12 months statements) Do I need Photocopies of those too?
How about Passports (3 passports I have)?

I did not submit these initially with my application, but the immigration officer asked me to give these too. Luckily I had copy of these with me, which I submitted. So, you better take these.

How about Passports (3 passports I have)? Yes, take photocopies of first pages containing passport number, photo and details.

Online application form and Appendix form? No, you do not need to submit photocopies of these, but for your own record you may keep one in home.

You can write "ORIGINAL" on small sticky papers and paste these on each original document. It would be easy to identify. I did like this and when I got back my originals, those sticky papers were still there.
