Help in gathering info for our final application!!

Hi everyone

I'm new here so I hope I'm posting on the correct section. We applied to immigrate as Fedral Skilled Workers and we recieved a letter saying that they wanted to process our application through London, which is fine.
So we are currently gathering the documents, etc.

They are looking for proof of settlement funds, now we are currently going through a house sale but a long way off from showing funds in our account from this, what if we can't find the specificed amount to show them through our bank accounts?

They are looking for our academic qualifications papers, what If I can't find a set from the early 90's?

Will we be refused?

Check out the visa office specific instructions (London) on the cic website.

With regards to proof of funds you will see that London accepts proof of equity in your home. You need to provide a recent mortgage statement plus two valuations to show you have the funds in equity.

This will get you through the document stage with regards to proof of funds, but you will need to have the cash in the bank when you land to activate your visa (within one year of the date of your medical).

With regards to educational docs. If you cannot provide a particular qualification, you need to make efforts (write) to get copies from the examining body and provide proof of your efforts (copies of your letters and their responses, even in they can't help) to obtain the docs. This may or may not be accepted so it might be an idea not to rely on the points for this qual.
