applying in person appointment date

hi,

Do anyone know any availabiity of appying walkin.

Due to some reasons i have to go to india in nov. And m appying my visa this week is there any chance tht i can get my visa with extension in just 15days.

Please let me know.

Till when is your current Visa is valid? i think 15days is a risky call to take..

its valid till dec 1 and my brothers engagement is just fixed and its on 21st november.

I heard there is somethng called urgent treatment form, is this still available or is it now replaced by walkins.

I think the best thing you can do is attend marriage and come back into UK as soon as the marriage is over and if you can even come back 2days before and apply by the end of NOV.. or even on Dec1 by RM Special Delivery.. you should be fine..

Applying now is a touch and go call, becos if passport does not come back by your travel date.. you either need to withdraw and loose ur fees and also donno how much time it takes for HO to send you once ur withdraw ur application??

Another best way is contact some solicitors who have slot booked before your deadline. Generally they have slot booked and if you are lucky you can get before your deadline. I personally would not go via solicitors as applying for extension is not rocket science. But for urgent treatment, it is better to use the available service (ofcourse at cost).

Unfortunately, Wedding/Engagement will not be treated as Urgent Treatment.

Have a look at other peoples exprience. As mentioned by others, You can either go early and come back before ur Visa Expires so you can apply as soon as you get back, or get a lawyer to free up a appointment for you!

If you post off your extension in the off chance that you can then fill and emergency treatment form, I a pretty sure You will Miss your Brothers wedding! Also with the Royal maill strike only Goodness knows when they wld receive your application and once Processed when you will get it back!

Dont Risk it IMHO!

If the engagement is on 21st November, why dont you Travel on like the 17 or 18th November.

That will at least give you another 16 or 17 days to check for availability. If you can not find any appointments online over the next week, I will really suggest you cough up and pay a lawyer so you can get your PEO appointment.

Since you knew that 21st November was a Set date, I cant really imagine why you didnt apply for an extension earlier since at least September or even early October. We are in the last week of October and u decide to apply. Unfortunately the chances of Finding appoitment now without having to pay a heavy Price i.e Lawyer Fees will very very slim. As is Christmas Session, Many people may want to go home in December. Like My self Wanna go home December, I applied August... I am still waiting decision (but different category from yours).

I really dont think there is much else anyone else can suggest other than go and Be back like the 25th November so that you can apply for your extesion on your return.

OR

PAY A lawyer so that you can get a same day appointment.

thts fine my brothers engagement is decided just yesterday so i was also nt aware of this m waiting for my bank statment to apply thts fine.

I ll miss the engagement bt will defintely attend the marriage.

I dnt want to go through solicitors.

if i call and ask for walk in appointment anywhere in UK like glasgow, liverpool or cardiff anywhere is there any chance tht i can get after 10 or 15days from now.
