If you are in a hurry and need to save urselves to stay in UK and do not mind for the extra Fees if ur spouse applies seperately;ahmedvsnl wrote:I have not maintained 1600 pounds extra for my spouse until last month. I am maintaining frm this month. As I will be able to show 800 +1600 from November till january. That is he reason I am unable to apply together. My company contract is ending by jan and they will be sending back to India. so I am in a hurry to apply before that.

in that case please follow ramesh advise and try to get in person appointment, if you cant book it online or by phone try to get help from solicitor they may charge you £200-300 for premium appointment but its worth it blv me. ask solicitor to just give you the appointment and you go yourself there is no need to send solicitor to represent you anywayahmedvsnl wrote:I came to UK on March 28th 2009..

someone on this forum told me via private message that his solicitor charged him £300. when i was looking for premium appointment via solicitor, one solicitor asked me 1500 which included representing me in home office.chetanojha wrote:That's an optimistic rate.tcpip_helper wrote:they may charge you £200-300 for premium appointment

Yeah £1500 is on the upper end of spectrum. Many solicitor in London charge that amount. though I aslo know few solicitors who charge £500+VAT(no-win no fees).tcpip_helper wrote:someone on this forum told me via private message that his solicitor charged him £300. when i was looking for premium appointment via solicitor, one solicitor asked me 1500 which included representing me in home office.chetanojha wrote:That's an optimistic rate.tcpip_helper wrote:they may charge you £200-300 for premium appointment
