HSMP - Tier 1 General extension

HSMP - Tier 1 General extension

I am going to apply for Tier 1(General) extension soon. I am currently on HSMP visa. I have 2 questions:

1. Do i need to send Graduation degree, IELTS Score sheet, Marriage certificate( for dependant) along with my extension application? I had provided these at the time of applying for HSMP. Do i need to send these again for extension or can i say that these were provided at the time of initial HSMP application?

2. I am applying in Nov 2009 & calculating my salary from the initial 12 months from the past 15 months. Do i count (Sept 2008 - Aug 2009) or (Aug 2008 to July 2009) as 12 months?

1. not required, as per Guidance , but if u have them handy n no problems.. just send them

2. using Sep08-Aug09 is safer as u r at the end of this month to apply.

Thanks Ramesh. As i am still in the process on acquiring last minute docs, i might be able to submit my application by 1st week of dec. If i am applying for extension in dec 09, i could use sept-08 -aug-09 for my earnings & sept-09 - nov 09 for maintenance funds. Please could you confirm this is correct?

Also, do i need to submit any proof of age for extension? I am claiming 5 points for the Age & i provided notorised copy of passport with my initial hsmp application.

YES for Sep08-Aug09 for Earnings
Yes for 1st Sep 09 - 30th Nov 09 - please remember u must make sure ur funds are min required for 3months as per HO rules.. and latest date on ur Maintenance funds - related bankstatements should fall with in 1month on the date ur apply..

Passport is enough for the age proof no extra docs are required..
