I am a TIER 1 Skilled Migrant who applied before March 30th 2009 holding an Advanced Diploma in business Administration - Level 6 and arrive din UK on Jul 12th 09.
1. Does one need a Masters Degree when applying for a FLR?
----------------------------------------------------------------
After three years in 2012 When applying for Further leave to remain (FLR), would one need to show a Masters degree for the required 75 points in the FLR points based calculator? Or this rule is only for applicants after 30th March.
2. What is the Work period assessed time frame?
--------------------------------------------------------
Would one need to show he/she have been working throughout the 3 years period of TIER 1 or just the last 12-15 months when applying for an FLR? What if one has not been able to get a job for the first six months and supporting themselves on their own?
Can one study while working on TIER 1 treated as a UK resident?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can one study part-time or full-time for a Masters degree while working. Can they apply as UK residents for the fees as Overseas student fees are much more than the one for UK Residents ?
Can I study for some other discipline, like Psychology or Film Making that is different to their profession , example IT or Business Administration. Since these degrees are sometimes not available in country of origin, can one change careers in their work here on TIER 1?
Can one study full time while they wait to be employed TIER 1 visa and support themselves on personal savings in the first year OR study and do part time or contract work?
Record of Funds
-------------------
Does one need to maintain a record of all funds while they are here or just the last 15 months. Do they need to show source of funds they bring in the country to support themselves while they live here?
Thanks to all the people at ImmigrationBoards for this great Service.
With best wishes and Kind Regards
