I applied for Tier 1 in the US.

I was sent an email asking me for some documents. Part of the email read as...

Please mark the envelope with [insert VAF339183 no. aT1] in large black print on the front and back of the envelope. Failure to do so may mean the application is refused.

My question is what is the "insert VAF339183 no. aT1"? Was I just asked to mark the envelope with the words or is this some kind of form that I should include?

Please help. I was asked to send them in 4 days.

I think that means you have to write down the above text on your envelope so that your package/documents can be attached to the application without much delay. This looks like a reference no. to me.
