After changing tier2 to tier1

Post by t1aspirant » Sun Dec 13, 2009 7:54 pm

Hi All,

I am worried that after changing my tier2 ICT to tier1.

Will my current employer (paying salary in India) ask me to leave?

Can I still work for the same company which is paying me in Indian rupees as an Indian employee and file the taxes in India?

Will I or comapany face any problem related to COS(Certificate of sponsership)?

Is it mandatory for a tier 1 holder to work for a company which is paying you in UK?

Please help!

Thanks in advance.

I have known people changing their visas to T1 and working for the same employer. But you should be out of the loyal list with your present employer.

Will my current employer (paying salary in India) ask me to leave? Why? There is not reason why your employer ask you to leave. Unless you kick your PM

Can I still work for the same company which is paying me in Indian rupees as an Indian employee and file the taxes in India? Why Not? You don't have to leave your employments or you will not be UK citizen. Your company can stll pay you in India.

Will I or comapany face any problem related to COS(Certificate of sponsership)? No. In fact it is good for company that they don;t have to pay for you or your dependent's visa.

Is it mandatory for a tier 1 holder to work for a company which is paying you in UK? No. It depends on how your company operate.

Please help!

Thanks in advance.
