Question on ICT - PLease help

Hello ,

I see updates that in January 2010 ICT will no longer be counted towards settlement . I have been in the UK for 1 year in ICT category - if I switch to Tier 1 , i think they will give it for 3 years initially - so that makes it a total of 4 years - can I then apply for extension with the sponsorship letter provided by the same company that I have come with [through ICT] . Any help will be most appreciated -

Do you mean to say that you now switch from WP ICT to Tier1(G) - 3years and then you want to come back to Tier2(G) or (ICT)??

Why dont you stay with Tier1(G) after switch and get it extended instead of going back to Tier2(ICT)?

Thanks for your reply .
I have completed 1 year as ICT and will continue to be with the same company - if I switch to Tier 1 , they will initially give me the stay for 3 years and when I want to extend can I give them the sponsorship letter from the ICT company - so will it be okay to switch to Tier 1 but still be with the ICT company when I have to apply for extension after the period of 3 years in Tier 1 ?
