Weekends and Bank Holiday Counts

HI,

Suppose if anyone is absent from the UK for about 205
days in the last 5 years which includes a single absense of 109
days in a stretch, will the weekends and bank holidays be counted towards
absenses or will they be excluded ?

If excluded, this person in the example above can deduct almost 40 days from 205 and hence will be on the safe side..what do you guyz reckon ?
