ILR postal applications (excluding 10/14 yr.)

Its happens and there are lots of example like yours on the forum.For example cardiff sends passports to sheffield for ilr vigenette.

You dont have to worry too much

Booboo, can you please send me a link to the pages with cases similar to mine. I have been searching quite a bit but cant find anyone else in a similar situation.

grats Tin Tin . I posted my application a week after yours based on set(O) WP, straight forward 5 years working for the same company based in Croydon. Wonder if they will drop by and check on me.. hmm...

Hi I'm a long time "follower" first time poster. We sent our application on the 2/2/2010, the acknoweledgement letter came 2 weeks after. That is 1yr WP+ HSMP (JR). We got our passports back on the 23/3/2010 with ILR stamped 17/3/2010, but they did not backdate our ILR. My husband called them the following day and told them, and they sent the letter (signed 25/3/2010) backdated from 18/11/2008. That's my story, hope it helps.

Grats!! Wow, the processing time for yours only took 7 weeks... but i dont quite understand of the difference between WP & HSMP. In addition, why would you want them to backdate your ILR?

Booboo.. any new on your application? Looks like Tin Tin , u and me , we applied at appx the same date, Tin Tin got his (although passport not being posted bak as yet) and you still waiting.

Applied for 1yr WP in 2004 then HSMP in 2005 i.e. a total of 6years WP + HSMP in 2010, but could not apply immediately after the JR due to circumstances beyond our control. So we asked them to backdate from when we were eligible i.e. 2008, and they did.

Mine is based on wp and tier 1 same employer, but it seems that hsmp is fast tracked.Finger crossed!

received returned of passport TODAY with IRL granted!!!! 01/04/10!!!! (This is one April Fool's day i will never forget!!!!)

It was stamped on 30/03/10 and then posted yesterday. I enclosed a returned special delivery and received my stuff this morning at 8am just as i was about to leave home for work!!!

Finally got our passports back today. Actually the packet arrived last week but they left a while you were out card. Due to the bank holidays I could only get them today.

They have all sent the Life in the UK test certificates.

The passports were stamped on 18/03/10.

Booboo any updates? Hopefully you will hear this week.

10 YEARS LONG RESIDENCE:

Hurray Hurray Hurray Hurray Hurray Hurray Hurray Hurray ,,,,I am over the moon.

Finally got ILR on ten years student by long residence rule

Application sent : 17th september 2009
acknowledgement received : 21st september 2009
money taken out : 21st september 2009
Ilr received: 8th march 2010.
passport received date: 6th april 2010.
visa issued place: liverpool.

I am so happy and now I personally thank each and everyone who gave me a support from this forum. whereever I go I used to go on the internet I used to go on this website before anything else,,,I had gone for such a stressfull period in the last 6 months ,,,,,,,,,,I pray for all of us and I hope very soon all will get a positive result...........thank you everyone cheers .......Hangermajor

I am still waiting for 12 weeks but no response yet.

This is making me crazy

I dont know what to do next

should I wait till 14 weeks and contact HO

Any suggestions will be really appreciated

Also if some one has applied this year on wp or hsmp or tier 1 to share their experiences
