Express processing times?

Hello dear members,

Can you please let me know the process of express processing of Tier1 visa. As per my information, the general application costs you £840 and the processing time is approx 2-3 months, but, I have got to know that there is an express service which takes an additional amount of approx £250 and the processing time is within 1 week.

Moreover, I could also see that there is a method of submitting your application in person which was for approx £1075 - Is this the Express service with 1 week of turn around time?

By the looks of it, it seems that it is only possible to apply in person from the UK. People from outside UK cannot apply in person from their respective countries - am I right?

Where do you want to apply from? Normally out of UK applicants have to approach visa application centres and submit their applications and these people forward the application to the BHC or DHC in their area and the decision will be taken by them (This will not be same day service). In some countries you can apply online.
