Volcanic ash affecting flights across the UK

Hi guys,

I'm non EU working in uk, I have traveld to dubai for a holiday but not able to fly back due to the ash incident!!!

im considering using train to travel from turkey to london !

do I need shengen visa for those countries that the train travel through ?

how long does it take to apply for one ? :(

Yes and will take longer than it will for the ash cloud to dissipate....

Wait a minute Wanderer, we have not been told the OP's nationality, so it is impossible to ascertain whether Schengen visa might be required. Or indeed a Turkish visa?
