EC Interview and HSMP Awareness

Dear Friends

Today I gave interview to EC officer, almost 25 questions were asked from salary, fund , job in hand , how u applied to hsmp , family , future programe, resignaton of present job , date of travelling , accomdation , details about previous visits etc.

there requirements were and i provided


1. Passport validity Vald till 2012

2. VAF Form completed with all required details

3. employers NOC Provided

4. HSMP lette given

5. fees RIAL OMANI 56.3

6. Bank statements Last six months


I draw a gross salary RO 800 PM (1 RO =2.6 US$)

Avalability of fund RO 6500 (GBP 9500 ) for self

after interview EC told me that THEY write to HO
and infor me by end of week .

what next ?

iam very much anxtious about visa , after a lot of waitng & documentation

i want to come uk .

my details given to HSMP

ACCA full member UK
CA -INDIA


8 YRS Work exp with 5 year as senior level
letter form employer explaning duty and responsibility

spouse with graduate level of exp. (ielts 5 5 6 6 )
bank statement , marriage certificate , tenant agreement

my ielts 6.6 6.5 6 7

visited london last oct 03 for 10 day , so shown mkt knowldge.
forecat of job agents regarding expeted pay

now what ec is looking i am awaitng , i belive they r cross verifying info .

At last I got clearance for EC after a wait of 1 week , one thig to keep in mind that keep all photocopy of all recordes , whereever u give , EC and ho cross veryfy it .


sataurday i am going to get my passport and VISA .

planning to fly by 5th Aug 04 TO London

Hi Dokwal,

Have you shown Bank Balance or transaction statement of last 6/12 months? I will apply for EC in Germany. I have a balance of equal to 15000 GBP in my savings account. Can you share your experience about this issue ? Thank you in advance.

they r looking for source of fund , if u r earning say gbp 1500 pm and any entry in yt ac excess of that ec ?

keep all papers u have given at time of hsmp , they (EC) verify from doncaster .
