Post by teenu » Tue Sep 21, 2010 9:12 am

Hi there,
I am an indian passport holder who have a valid UK spouse visa.I am visiting Turkey for 10days in december.I went through turkish visa embassy london site
http://www.turkishconsulate.org.uk/en/v ... PageID=3#3

Here in this site , where footnote 10 & 19 are applicable for me ,i understand i can obtain a 30days ,single entry sticker type visa on arrival at Turkey.

I want to confirm ,this is an updated fact.Anybody sure about this?and if true, what is the cost involved for visa at Turkey on arrival??
Please help me
Regards.

The embassy website confirms that as you pointed out. I would suggest you to contact them for the visa costs.

If you are not working in Turkey, do you need a visa? I thought a passport would be enough for 10-days. What is the number of days when one needs a visa when traveling in Turkey?

why not apply as it says you can before you travel save a lot of hassle than getting to airport and not being able to board plane in any doubts

I needed a visa when I went to Turkey for a week, a few years ago. (British). Coughed up £10 at the border.
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.
