Dependant application form - queries

Post by gprao2010 » Fri Oct 22, 2010 5:52 pm

Hi,

I would be applying for dependant visa for my wife and 7 months old kid. Could you please answer my following queries:

1. My wife was issued a new passport after adding my name as spouse in her passport. Whether the old passport also needs to be submitted while applying for dependant visa? The reason for asking this question is that in the Annex A - Supporting Documents Checklist of VAF 10 form there is a checkbox mentioned for Previous passports.

2. In the VAF 10 form for my kid, what should i mention for the following:
3.3 Mobile telephone number
3.4 Email address
Should i leave this blank or should i provide my wife's number & email id here?

3. I also have a few questions on the Main applicant job details that needs to be filled under part 7 of vaf 10 form.
My situation is as follows: I am working on a rolling contract for ABC Client through XYZ Umbrella company. My contract end date is 22nd Dec 2010 after which decision would be taken by the client whether to extend the contract or not. I have the contract letter from ABC Client indicating my job title, contract start date and contract end date. I also have an employment letter from my umbrella company.
My questions are:
1. For 7.16 & 7.17 (Name & address of company, Name & telephone no. of main contact), Do I need to provide the Client details or the Umbrella company details ?
2. For 7.19 (when is the job expected to finish), Do i need to mention the contract end date or visa expiry date ?

Thanks,

Reading PBS Dependent (VAF10) guidance notes will help.

Do include old passports, if available.

Applicants not in possession of a mobile phone and/or access to internet / email are allowed to apply for EC to travel to and/or live and work in the UK.
