Which Documents I need with the Application.

Post by banku » Wed Nov 24, 2010 3:25 pm

Hi There,
I wanted to enquire about the list of documents I would need to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain in UK.
I have been on a FAMILY MEMBER of EEA National visa since Jan. 2006 and that visa is going to Expire in the second week of Jan. 2011 . Now the technical point is I got Divorced from my EEA National wife , We lived together for 3 years & 8 months and got separated in 2009 , She works for a reputed university and I work for a reputed logistics company.
Now my query is About the Documents , Which documents I need to produce & send with the Application form. I have already passed My Life in the UK test (which i didn’t need I reckon) .
And can you please advise How Long does Home Office takes to process the application.
Any Help ,Any Guidance in the Above said matter will be Highly Appreciated .
Regards,

For starters, you cannot apply for ILR but maybe for permanent residence on form EEA4. My advice would be to search this forum as divorce is a topic discussed here very frequently. One at least is right on the front page of this sub forum.
