Couple questions for Initial Tier-1 application

Hi

I will be applying for Tier 1 initial application soon and I have couple of doubts.

1. Can a relative pay the application Fee( through Debitcard / Postal order) ? I saw the policy guidance and nothing is stated directly on this

2. Can the maintainence funds be shown from an overseas account in the Applicant's Name? I dont think this should be a problem but just double checking

1. I don't think it matters who pays the fee.
2. Yes, it has to be your name. IT must cover the entire period of 3 months. Make sure of the exchange rate conversion as it cannot be even a pound less than the stated amount even for a day. Good luck!
