Applying family visit visa for non working member

Hi All,

First of all thanks to everbody for all the help I have received till now.

I am on tier1 visa from India and employed directly to a UK company. My wife has joined me few months ago on tier1 dependent visa.

This summer I want to call my mother for 3 months. My mother is a housewfe, I am trying to know all the requiremnts to apply for her visa from India.

I have gone through VAF1B form and its guidence but confused what all documents required in case of non working person. It says about 'Evidense of fund' but no where clearly mentioned what documents will be required and how much fund is required as in case of tier 1 dependent visa.

My question are :

- Do I need to maintain any fund in my bank account for any particular period, if so then how much in total ?

- What documents need to be produced from my mother side?

- What documents do I need to provide?

- Do I require any letter from my company?

I hope I will get my queries answered.
