Hi Everyone!!
I find myself in a situation where I need some advice. Here is my story and question, any helpful advise will be apreciated.
I came to this country in 2002 as a student and studied till May 2008 when my Visa extension as a student was refused. Within that period I had gained good qualifications including 2 bachelors degrees in IT and Business. I therefore applied for Asylum in April 2009 and after sometime this was also refused and i went through the appeal process in this country upto now my case is in the European Court of Appeal awaiting their decision. During my period here, I met a woman who was also an Asylum seeker and we started staying together as partners and we have 2 kids together. My partner had our 2 kids included in her Asylum application as her dependants and August last year they were all given ILR. My kids now are registered British.
My question and worry is, Since my application seems to have run its course,Should I approach by writing to the CRD/UKBA and request for my case to be determined under legacy because of the years I have stayed here or what should I do?
Someone please advise as am starting to get stressed by all this since i cant work and am depending on my wifes income for support.
