Hi,
The only professional refrees that know me since 3 years are GPs. Can i not use them as refrees?
Can't find any of the listed refrees who can say that they know me from 3 years.
Pls advise.

Having laboured to this stage, its unwise to gamble with your application. GPs were struck off the list of professional refrees for a reason. i would suggest going through this list http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary
Try your local church or be bold enough to ask anyone you have ever come in contact in the past three years.

The list is for guidance only, 'professional' has to include GPs,Consultant doctors.
A professional is a member of a vocation founded upon specialised educational training.
The list doesn't mention them simply because they should not feel obliged to be referees for any one who approaches them.
You may call HO and ask them to confirm.
