Process after biometrics

Hi All,

I have received email for biometric invite for T1 general extension (which I'll be booking shortly).

I want to ask whether actual process of evaluating the application starts after giving biometrics OR by receiving this invite means evaluation process is almost over and application is most likely successful?

I have exactly the same question. Although, browsing the forum I get the impression that biometric is just one of the step of collecting information from you and have nothing to do with the outcome of visa decision.

However, I had not heard anyone on this position : getting biometric invitation but their visa has been declined.

Yeah Jessica I figured scopping through forums that there aren't many posts related to this question.

I hope someone can answer though. My guess is process starts after since they cannot evaluate an application with in 10-15 days of receiving it (I received biometric invite after 15 days of sending application by post).
