Applying for Schengen on a Student visa UK.

Recently It has been observed that the Schengen visa applications are not processed for
non EEA candidates who are on Student Visa in UK.
Even if it is valid till 2012.

Has anybody faced this issue.Please share your thoughts.
No Idea why
The consulate are rejecting those applications but the Official Visa agencies like VFS and TLScontact
are accepting and charging for it.

Moreover they never provide any information after it is rejected.

Moreover I know a group of students who applied for Schengen visa a week ago for an excursion tour in France via Univ.
Everything was arranged from the College/Uni.But all their visa got rejected.
The visa agency TLSContact is not ready to give any feedback on that.

I'm still curious to know if any non-EEA on student visa has applied for Schengen visa recently (in last one month) and got it stamped.
