Separation and Naturalization

Post by llizgal » Tue May 31, 2011 10:06 pm

Hello Everyone

Its very sad but my marriage has gone burst and we both gone separate ways. Not divorced yet as its just happened.

Am on ILR via Spouse route. My naturalization was due in Mid Oct. We are not in bad terms but not sure if he will give me his passport for naturalization. I believe birth certificate can be used as well. Has anyone ever used the birth certificate and did it work out?

Someone who have gone thro the process using Birth Cerficate?

Pls advise

Not everyone has a passport and it's not compulsory to take out the passport. Birth certificate should be fine. However, to be on a safer side do let your other half know just in case there are any queries from home office come up during your naturalisation application

Good luck
