Hi, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I'm due to start a job soon and applied for EEA2 as the unmarried partner of an EEA national. Received a COA with no right to work stated "cannot confirm right to work".
So at least I'm in the system, question is if we get married, how do I initially prove my right to work to my employers? Especially in the light of the hefty fine companies are paying for employing those without the right to work.
Would the HO employer-advice line be able/willing to confirm it if I present my passport and marriage certificate? Also, how do I go about giving notice at the registry without my passport? (Going to request it from HO)
