i have alot of support from my family finacially and my mum and godmothr is willing to sponser us financialy and give us a lump sum of money as a gift to help us start our life.

i travel to jamaica about 3-4 times a year and have the proof of that in my passport and booking conformations. i have phone records and pictures as well..........please help!

Whilst 3rd party financial support is now allowed, however your problem is that you appear to be wholly reliant on finacial support, which I am afraid is not allowed.

You are not working, you live in a council house, your husband has no saving and may not have a good prospect of getting a job on arrival in the UK.

Whilst you may have some proof of your relationship, this unfortunately may not be enough because your underlying problem is that that the ECO will argue that you are not capable of supporting your hubby without probably resorting to claiming public funds to support yourself and your husband.

What type of financial support can your family give you. Are they able to prove how they obtain the finance themselves?. I mean do they work and show proof of this,or is it going to be a one of payment?

Also can I ask why you have to visit Jamaica 3-4 times a year?. I ,mean teh travelling costs must cost you a fortune?.Is this really necessary?

I have to agree that with you not working, this may be a problem for Kingston... I am not working at the moment and waiting to get into employment since leaving university in May. I would not advise you to go ahead with the application, ESP in Jamaica until you have covered all areas thoroughly.

Batley - i can sympathise that she wants a have as much contact with her husband as possible! But one thing that was said to me was that i may have to sacrifice seeing my husband in the short term to get the financial situation sorted for a long term future together.

Nickys i have PMed you also.
