I sent my application on 17th June, got the confirmation letter week after. now still waiting. So I think it is normal for those applied during June as we see quite a number of us still waiting.

Dear all,
Looks as if the HO is taking time to process these HSMP JR applications. I wonder why? It is currently my 14th Week now, still waiting......

I wish you all the best with your application, for me I wouldn't even advice anyone to go through this torture of waiting game, mine is now 11 weeks and still waiting.

Hi there,
Applied for SET (0) for myself and my son - UK Ancestry
Application rec'd 7th of Aug
Payment Taken 11th of Aug
Letter Rec'd and Dated 10th of Aug
Been waiting for 6 weeks now, so I suppose another 8 to go (mid Nov), I am a little worried however that some of your applications are taking longer and I hope it doesn't go over 14 weeks as I need to travel back to NZ in December for our wedding. I have also read that it takes 15 working days to get my passport back........so I hope it doesn't get to end nov and I have to withdraw my application because my visa expired on the 15th of Aug (uk ancestry) and I will not be able to come back into the UK once I come back from our wedding in NZ? Do you think come 14 weeks I can request there fax number and send through a request to hurry it up a bit, seeing I have to go back for my wedding?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi All,
We submitted our Set (O) App. on June 13t
Received acknowledgement on June 16th
Payment taken on June 15th
Received our passport after 15 weeks.
Passport stamped in Liverpool on 12th and received today 21.9.11
We are very happy but our kid’s date of birth was entered incorrectly on the visa. Can any one please advise us the procedure to follow up as we are planning to travel soon.
We thank every one who have contributed and shared their experience.
Regards,
Elsa.

Received my documents and ILR stamped passports today. The timelines are
SET(0) application sent on 20th June 2011
Money debited from my acct on 25th June 2011
Acknowledgement received on 26th June 2011
ILR stamp date: 8th Septmeber 2011
Documents Recieved : 22nd September 2011
I applied with 2 dependents and my stay here as 1yr WP +2 yrs HSMP + 2yrs Tier 1
All the best who are waiting. Nothing to worry if you have enough points for eligibility.
I think PR applications have less priority over any other applications.

Dear All,
I have just received the good news from my wife who luckily happened to be home that the passports have arrived this morning.
Applied 11th June 2011
Achnowledgement Letter 14th June 2011
Stamped 8th September 2011
Passports arrived 22nd September 2011
One thing to note was that when i called the home office helpline day before yesterday the lady told me that the decision has not been made yet and I should write to them explaining the urgency. I wrote the same day and sent it via special delivery as advised which I did not really need to do. Anyways what matters is the ILR visa rest all is now history.
I would like to thank all of you who have kept on updating the board with very useful information. I wish you all best of luck and take care. Thanks...
Regards.

I had submitted my ILR Set(O) application on May 1st but have not received my ILR yet. I call up the home office every week now but receive the same reply that it is still under process and no decision has been made yet. Dont know whats happening. I have also received an offer now from another employer and need to submit my original passport. Its been a long long wait but unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel...Not sure if I should write to the Home Office....Any advise in this regard pls?

learning zone, yes i think you should write to the Homeoffice. Call them first and get the address and name of the actal office dealing with your case. then write to them and post using special delivery. you will get a response soon then...

Hi mate i applied for my wife's SET (M) IN JULY 2011 aswell
sent 1st JULY
Acknowledgement letter received on 6th July 2011
date of stamp 13th september 2011 LIVERPOOL
Documents arrived 23rd September 2011
It was a straight foreword application, but getting up early waiting for the postman to come every morning with the documents was getting unbearable, but in the end it finally came and the waiting is now over. To you and everyone else on this board waiting for their visa just hang in there and it will soon arrive. I would like to thank everyone on this board for the invaluable advice given. Thank You

Hi all
I applied for SETO 28th June, recieved acknowledgment letter on 30th June,
Still awaiting
is any one in same situation
One confusing thing, tracking number of self addressed envelope is on royal mail system showing 'post receieved by royal mail but no delivery confirmation' ive checked with royal mail many times but no clear cut answer - latest answer is tracking number is an error
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Sincerely
waiting..

Chap, i think it's just going be a waiting game really! Mine is now 13th week and still waiting, and was based on Tier1. For 10 years stuff, I think it could be longer? Trust if your application is ok, they will surely grant it.
Good luck though.

I got my acknowledgement letter on 8th August to say my application was received based on the ancestral route. I am flying to Cape Town on 6th December for a friends wedding.
Do you guys/gals think I should be worried that my passport will not arrive in time to make the flight?
Am I correct in assuming that the ancestral route should be quicker to process than most others?
Thanks
