Anybody notice any changes to UKB Discretion on absence page

Post by prince12 » Thu Dec 22, 2011 1:25 pm

Hi All,

i am not sure if i am seeing right but i believe i used to see on the discretion for naturalisation page a paragraph that said they could discount up to 900 days absence during the residential qualifying period. The thing is that i cant see it again... and the highest i am seeing there now is 540 days!! was this criteria reviewed and changed recently? I ask because i am currently on 539days and had planned to travel for 30days next year....and if the limit is now 540 that means i am stuck here...sobs...can somebody please tell me i am wrong and was looking at the wrong UKBHA page please!!!!!

Sushdmehta!!

You are a star!! thanks sooo much, now i can book my flights.... Gosh what a relieve. One more question if i may please? Why is this not on the normal UKBHA page? i nearly had a panic attack and also does the fact that its not on the normal popular UKBHA site pages mean that its not really the current UKBHA policy?

Thanks
