Im an indian passport holder with ILR stamp on it, my wife is going to aaply for the spouse visa from india.

Do I need to get my passport copy certified from solicitor.

If you are providing a copy rather an original of any type of document, the copy needs to be officially certified as a copy of the original. There are various officially acceptable ways of doing this in the UK and abroad. Asking a UK solicitor to provide this service would be fine.
