Age Proof: Under New Rules!!!

Hi,
I am from India and my Birth Certificate is in Local Language and I dont have a driving license.
What do I do?
1) Is there any certified translator in UK to translate from South Indian Language to English.
If not are there any certified translators in India?
2) If I go back to India and get International Driving License will it suffice to qualify as age proof.

Please help.

Dear Forum Members,

I have lost my original Birth Certificate. I have the driving licence,which is just a smart card with my photo and mentions the date of birth too. Where as the Guide Notes says one need to submit the ORIGINAL FULL DRIVING LICENCE.
Is this smart card based driving licence is acceptable as per the NEW HSMP?

As we know in India, it is not too difficult to get a Driving Licence, so how safe it is to provide to UK HO, in order to score the points (esp. for the people who are on the verge of 27 years comletion)

Is it a better idea in this case to provide the evidence in the exceptional circumstance i.e. Notarised copy of Passport? One also need to justify the reason for the exceptional consideration.

Or should I get a new Birth Cerificate issued from the Local authority?
Any idea whom should I approach to get the new Birth Certificate?


Can senior members throw some light on this?

Thanks for answering. but the guidelines say to present notarised copy i need to have hardcore evidence like it was destroyed because of some natural calamity, which makes matter worse.
will Indian Driving License do?

I guess no where it is written that proper legal Indian Driving license is not valid...
