Had the most horrible experience. They should have sent the passport in 2/3 weeks but had to make dozens of calls to expedite it. Once the verification checks were completed, I had to pay around 40 pounds extra to get it processed quickly and delivered next day. This was on top of the passport fee. It felt like a ransom amount as I had to travel urgently with my daugther. Paid another 6 pounds or so to the courier company as apparently we were not home, inspite of being there. Pretty horrible experience. It could be they were very busy around olympics but it's a bit of cheek to ask for another 40 pounds to process the application quicker when it's been late by even their standards.

Issues:

IPS rejected my photos on the basis that countersignatory did not sign the photographs instead he put his name. They said they sent me letter on 25/09/2012 but i never received and i called on 03/10/2012 to know the status of my application and then only i knew it. They wanted to send me copy of that letter so that i can send my photographs but i followed the email customer service team and sent the photos in an envelope with the address provided by them and below address barcode number with covering letter by next day delivery on 04/10/2012. They received my photos on 05/10/2012 and sameday they posted my interview letter and documents. This wasted so much time and money and i thought i should share this painful experience with our community which supported me everyway so far.

PLEASE FRIENDS MAKE SURE PHOTOS AND FORMS ARE SIGN CORRECTLY WITH ALL THE WORDING REQUIRED.
