Two work permit applications

Hi friends,

I have a question about work permit application.

I have got a job offer of a contracted job from companyA a week before and I have sent all my documents for work application to them. Immediately after that, another company companyB offered me a permanent job and I decided to go for companyB.

When I called companyA, they are OK with my decision, but they have already sent the work permit application through.

Can any one tell me if there are any problems if two work permit applications are being processed at the same time? Anyone has same experience before?

One thing I forgot.

I am currently working for companyX. I am thinking to switch my employment to companyB.
