Hi,
I have some query related benefit.
I m ILR holder. My wife is my dependant. she will apply for ILR after 2 year
which is end of 2015. I have 2 kids.first one 3 years old and second one just new born baby. both are uk born.
I don't have any idea about how to apply for benefit?
which benefit I can claim?
can I apply for child benefit and child tax credit?
how much they will give per week for child benefit and how much per week for child tax credit?
can I apply for housing benefit? is that will be problem for my wife ILR application?
I m doing full time job which salary is per annun like 17000.
my wife does part time job.
but she is in maternity at the moment.after finish maternity she will leave the job because she have to look after children.
m I entitled to apply for housing benefit at the moment? if how?
I m living shared house with my friends at the moment?
Can I apply for working tax credit?
2013 tax year my total pay from employment was 15000.
and my wife pament was 5000.
m I eligible?
and what are the other benefit I can claim?
plz help me out

Firstly, what is your spouse's current leave, when did she apply for it and when did she enter the UK?

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
Her Current Leave as ILR Dependant.which will expire end od 2016.
She applied for it last september2013 and got it in November.
She first enter in uk end of 2005 as a student dependant.

Was she a student dep until she switched to FLR(M) in September? I gather you settled as a long resident?

Hi,
No she change her status as independent category which is tier 1
from 2012 to september 2013.
2005 to 2011 she was student dependant.
yes u r right I got it long residence category.

Claim Child Benefit in your name, Tax credits in joint names. If you claim HB or CTB, it's a joint claim but make sure the applicable amount paid does not include an amount for your spouse.

Just need your opinion.
me ,my daughter on ilr and i have son born in uk i am registering him on mn1 cuz he born before my ilr approved but after set o submission and my wife on flr(m).wife came on tier 1 dependent 2 years back.
what benefits can i apply ,
