Small Error on Certificate of Application

Hi there,

Perhaps this is nothing to worry about, but on the Certificate of Application I received from the UKBA it states:

Thank you for your application of [date] for a Permanent Residence Card

The issue is that I have applied for a Residence Card under form EEA2, not a Permanent Residence Card.

Is this anything to be concerned about, or should I interpret this as merely a typographical oversight? [/quote]

You can report them about this error and can ask for correct type of COA, although it won't affect the EEA2 RC application as long as the correctly filled form and evidences were attached.
