Tier 2 extension (COS before April-14)

Hi,

my visa will be expire end july-14 and I am trying to get my CoS letter before April changes but problem is my employer is not convinced that they can issue me CoS in March-14 or by 5th April because according to them it is too early. Can you please share you experience and any advice?,

you can apply for an extension any time, don't have to wait until just before your leave expires. A Cos is valid for 3 months and you will have to apply for the extension within this period

If your sponsor has any doubts about this ask them to ring the HO employer helpline 0300 123 4699
