Hi,

Applied visa for baby born in UK from New Delhi and got visa in 14 *working* days

List of documents
1.Father and Mother (passport and BRP card self attested copies all pages) - carried original as well
2.Father 12 months payslips and 12 months bank statement(ONLY NEED 3 MONTHS)
3.Employment reference letter
4.U.K Birth Certificate (Short and Detail)
5.T.B Clearance Certificate (takes 1 day at designated hospital/clinic)
6.Tenancy agreement
7. NOC Letter from Landlord to add my newborn to house
8.Sponsorship Letter from father/mother to bear all expenses of newborn
9. Original Passport of baby
10. 2 Passport Photos of new born
11. Council Tax Letter (not mandatory)
12. Latest utility bill

Payment was made in cash (at least was possible in Delhi). Appointments were available for next day and coming weeks as well.

I thought that the mode of communication is SMS to the registered mobile number.
Did they inform (at VFS) that you can check your status online?

Yes, You are right.

I have checked with VFS hyd office, They mentioned that from 17 march only SMS tracking available.
There is no Web tracking.

We have revived Dependent visa on 24/04/2014. Exactly 10 working days.
So web tracking is not available only SMS messages received regarding status.

Just xerox copies are enough, no need of originals.
