Tier2 -General-main applicant to ILR dependent

Post by auser » Wed Feb 26, 2014 2:03 pm

Hi,

My husband and I entered the UK on Jan 6, 2009. My husband was Tier2-main applicant and I was on Tier2 dependent visa.

I remained as Tier2 dependent from Jan 2009-Jan 2013(i.e. for 4 years). Then I switched to Tier2-General-main applicant as my company sponsored the visa for me.

In Dec 2013, my husband got the ILR as he completed 5 years on Tier2 general visa.

Could you please advise on the following?
1) how can I switch to be his dependant now? which visa category/form will I need to fill in? (will this be PBS dependent for Tier2?)
2) can the switching of visa category be done from within the UK?
3) Am I eligible for ILR? If not, how and when will I be eligible if I decide to switch from my Tier2 -general visa?

Many thanks,
