Tried emailing them but no help. Missed my flight because of that. Tried calling 8 and 3, they said my application had only been with them for 6 weeks (they logged it in the system on the 17th May). It is absurd.

I had to go to the London Passport Office to basically cry there to get this moving forward. If your documents are in Durham office, you have all reasons to worry about your application if it is over 10 weeks. Just call the helpline press 8 and 3 in order to talk to someone to get a meaningful update.
