What is the nationality of ur wife?
for how long long she has been living in UK?
did she exercised treaty rights for ANY continues period of 5 years ?
and
Im not sure, if u can apply on ur own after 10 years of residence but u need to be legal at least 10 years the ILR /

If it's past 6 months, I think you've got nothing to lose! Maybe if all the MPs start getting annoyed with this they'll become a bit more interested in seeing some action taken.

If you need help to find out exactly which MP is yours, you can find details here: https://www.writetothem.com/ Most tend to have a website or some online presence you can start initial contact from.

Sorry, ceremony booked for 11 March (not Feb)

Minz25 wrote:Hi
I applied june of last year and only just received the 3-6 month letter last week. I was wondering whether we are allowed to travel whilst our application is being processed? I have my original documents so that's not an issue but is there any restrictions on how long you are out of the country and also does it affect the application? I don't understand why people who applied from june last yr are not a priority and people who have applied in january this year have already had approvals. I know thats a common frustration on this forum but the waiting and uncertainty is starting to get tedious now. Glad to know mt case isn't unique though. Would appreciate an answer to my queries re travel.
Thanks.
Hi sorry for the delay in getting back. I applied in Feb 2014. travelled out after 6 months of my application ie Aug 2014 to do a contract job out of UK, my approval arrived while I was away. There is no restriction on travelling after few days of application, so long as you have your docs with you. I spoke to the consulate where I am now and was told I could do ceremony if I get certificate transferred to them but I do not want any complication so am travelling for 7.5 hours back. Hope this helps.

Yes that does make sense although i hadnt heard of this or considered it even. So our applications were selected at random i take it? And should we expect to hear in may f thatis when the elections are? And what about some of the people that did apply in 2014 and are getting their approvals now? The 3-6 month letter sounds like a delaying tactic.

nothing yet aswell, seems like people who applied this year are priority.

Yes you are right, I discuss one immigration lawyer he was telling me they have achieved the 2014 nationality target, that is why they delaying process till new election this year. ( its a point scoring game for politicians ) who give less nationality and we all knows this ruling party.
And processing JAN application quick because the year just started and they have penalty limit left for this year.

Please comment on it if it is make sense.
