Rule of the thumb is, only send what is asked. Sending un necessary documents does not help.
Payslips are only required if there is a gap in passports.
I have just sent it with my application to support it (just extra thing) and also shows that I have been paying tax and what is my current stage regards job and not just hanging around.
It is true that as long as you have your all passports than it's fine and should be enough but I wanted to send them with along with my application to support it.

It was a letter from my current job just saying how much it's my salary and etc. I have everything else too.
ok thanks. So you just put that in as extra?
Hi akhurshid,

What does it mean if you say gap between passports;

Does it mean gap between expiration of passport and issuence on new passport ? if Yes what kind of gap is acceptable means how long and in what circumstances ?

Hi, ya I am still waiting for approval. Its been nearly 7 months. I called HO after completing the wait of 6 months and they said my application is still under consideration and I was advise by the operator to write a letter to HO Liverpool to get an update on my application. I sent a letter last week and waiting to hear back from them.
Hope to hear back soon.....
