Thanks for your reply.
I understood there will be 2 fees..
I mentioned on slips for what I pay so they cut 906 only.
Thanks!

Many thanks
£906 include ceremony fee you don't need to send any extra.
Why did u send 80 pound extra for? 906 pound is including the ceremony fee.

I feel your pain. My application was acknowledged by the Home Office on the 29/05/2014 and still have not heard anything. Can you post as soon as you hear anything, thank you

Hi guys,
I used to be on flr-m waiting forum in 2012 when there was a mad wait for post applications hence the username as waitwaitwait.
I didn't bother posting my application for ILR and did same day appointment on 26/09/2014. I was surprised that everything was done in less than 90 minutes from registration, biometrics to approval but it can take 6-12 months if you apply by post. Its a shame there is no such service for naturalisation and again back to usual wait as I have applied for Naturalisation.
Good luck to everyone and here is my timeline:
Eligibility criteria:Married to BC + ILR
(Living in UK for 8 years)
Language criteria met: B1-Trinity college +LIUK
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: Hastings
Date of application: 10/10/2014
Payment method : Credit Card
Date of acknowledgment: Waiting
Date of debit or clearance of fees: waiting
Date approval received: Waiting
Date of ceremony:Waiting

Not really we are there still waiting, I applied 27/05/14 and still no news yet. It seems to me no difference between UKBA and Homeoffice.

Have made application on the 31st July - awaiting response - hopefully soon.
Does the package return sooner if you have sent across a pre-paid next day delivery postage envelope along with the application?

I was advised to wait as I have another month until it will be six months! I was also advised that I would not be told if the application was successful this will not be confirmed over the phone. Once it becomes the 6 month minimum period you need to contact the Home Office call centre and you will be given the contact details for your case worker.
Everyday seems to be an agonising wait! Is anyone else in a similar situation?
""Applied in 13 May 2014 and stilll no response. Everytime I contact the HO I get the same response " your application is under assessment & wait for 6 months" !!"" I think most of May applications are cleared by now.
They may as well have an automated system stating that your application is still being processed-please wait for 6 months.

I thought guidance said that they did do a credit check? Do we know all the different checks that they actually do?

I don't think HO checks credit report. I have alerts set up and haven't received any since I have applied. I applied 6 weeks ago but will keep an eye anyway.

HI All,
Has any of you guys who have applied checked the credit history to see any random credit search is been done home office as part of the Naturalisation application. I am just thinking may be that could be one of the ways to see your application is progressing.
Thanks

Still waiting for approval!!!!!!!
Phoned HO twice, first time they said the application is under processing then the second time said the application is under reviewing!!!!
Is there any difference between the 2 answers?
In the 7th of September my application is completing 6 months!!!!![/quo
I applied the same day as you 7 April (ack letter 17 April). Haven't received a decision yet. Rang them a few times, every time I get a slightly different answer (you should be getting an answer soon, under review, a small percentage takes more than 6 months, no decision made, etc.). I wouldn't read too much into it.
I think we just have to wait!
Looking at the April 14 timeline sub forum it seems April people either got a very quick answer or are having to wait for quite a while.
Hi
What happened with you?
What action have you taken?
Thanks

The letter says you have to contact your local authority within 21 days to arrange for the ceremony. I called up my Council as soon as I got the approval letter. The council told me that they have already sent me a letter giving me the choice of dates. A. You are supposed to contact the council then with your chosen date.
I think when the approval letter is sent,, the home office also inform the council about your approval.
I would advise you to call your councils.
