It took 7 month to the day from the actual application, I dont know why it took that long, but happy that it is finally over

I sent to FNE twice and got the standard auto reply saying nothing
I got MMST message on Feb 8th
I got FNE apology it is taking a long time, but no explanation
I wrote to my MP 4 times asking for help, response was very slow and not helpful
Finally today I got approval and invite to schedule ceremony.

My message, don't stress, it will happen eventually, and big thank you to this forum for keeping me sane.

Fortunately, a very reasonable time scale for me; around 2.5 months after submission of biometrics. I took the advice of some posts on this forum and emailed nationality enquiries on 18-Mar-24. Not sure whether this expedited matters but surely cannot hurt, especially if your application is straightforward!
