Provided you have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years and married to a British citizen then you can submit your naturalisation application any time after you receive you ILR. Applicants for naturalisation need to have held ILR for 12 months at least before applying using form AN, UNLESS they are married to A British citizen. You need to send your marriage certificate and a photocopy of your spouse's passport.
Good luck

Thank you very much.

GOD ALMIGHTY thanks to you, my parents and my family.

Eligibility criteria: 3 years HSMP +2 yearsTier 1+ 13months ILR
Language criteria met: UK Masters degree + LIUK
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: Lewisham
Date of application: 17/03/2014
Payment method: Debit Card (Payment was declined on 24/03/2014, acknowledgement letter and revised payment request received on 27/03/2014, both same day, revised payment slip filled and sent. Payment deducted on 12/04/2014, balance reduced on 10/04/2014).
Date of acknowledgment: 24/03/2014
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 12/04/2014
Date approval received: 15/05/2014 (Letter dated 07/05/2014) - Council letter received on 14/05/2014.
Date of ceremony: 09/06/2014.

A few facts about my case that I struggled to find answers to and I hope this helps other.
1. Liability Order issued in July 2013 due to late payment by one month of council tax, issued by the council to appear in Magistrates court or settle the debt. The same day I called up the council and made an installation plan. I basically lost my job at that time and applied for benefits, but found a job within a month or so, but for got to repay the council tax as the council added the rebate they gave me for council tax. I DID NOT declare this on the application.

2. I had three points LC20 on my licence with FPN £60 in April 2009, that was declared on both occasions of extension i.e. Tier-1 and ILR, but in April 2013, as the points cleared off the licence, I DID NOT declare this on the application.

I do hope this helps, but should anyone have any queries, please feel free.
