People showing desperation must have skeletons hidden in the cupboard and are wary these will come out the longer HO spends on their application. They have a SLA of six months to deal with naturalisation applications and they don't have to take orders from impatient applicants on how to do their job. I am sure they monitor these boards for Intel and evidence of mischief.

You are completely wrong dear. The waiting times is six months but when you start seeing application months after yours coming through and you know of a fact that you have been law abiding and your case is straight forward, you begin to wonder why so many application are coming through before yours.

lol you sound like one of those useless home office guys defending yourself ... there is definitely no logical explanation for not considering an application prior to those who apply later on ... common sense mate ...

I am waiting for mine too so we are all on the same boat.
I don't understand why some people are posting abuse towards the Home Office.
As Collipu said above, some countries needs extra checks, and also I believe that HO contacts our home countries which may take a while.
Do you really think that an officer will be sitting there drinking coffee and waiting for an answer from your country???
The answer is NO. They take a next application and process it. And if it happens to be an easier one the results will be sent earlier.
BE PATIENT WE WILL GET THERE IN THE END!

Schengen countries classify these countries as high risk. Visa processing for these countries requires extra checks which add 2-3 weeks to the processing time. Based on this naturalisation applications (even though UK is not part of Schengen) for citizens of these countries might take longer as evidenced by the timelines.

Congratulation for all of those who have got their naturalisation approval.
I'm a Nov applicant, and still havent heard anything from the UKBA. my case should be straight forward for the case worker, and I cant understand why its taking so long. It look like there are still a lot of Nov pending applicants, but it might also mean they got their approval and forgot to put their timeline. can I please ask the November applicants to show up so we can have really an idea on the pending applications.
