Dont understand standard of service as I have paid the same fee, as those who have applied afrer me and have a straight forward case :P

Couldn't agree more ... I dont think they are organised or have a plan of taking up applications, they simple are a bunch of useless good for nothing team, doing their work in the most inefficient way possible ... Its so simple to clear the application on first come first serve basis. Guess they simple pile up application in trays and as newer ones are put on top they simply pick up those and process them ... wat else could you expect from dumb-heads !

I'm a Nov applicant, and still havent heard anything from the UKBA. my case should be straight forward for the case worker, and I cant understand why its taking so long. It look like there are still a lot of Nov pending applicants, but it might also mean they got their approval and forgot to put their timeline. can I please ask the November applicants to show up so we can have really an idea on the pending applications.
Thanks for all and good luck for all !!!

I rang them (UKBA) today afternoon and my application is still in process.

I did applied on 15/11/2013 and I am still waiting. I did call on Monday and told them that people who applied after me have been receiving approvals, that I don't know if the are jumping queue or something and that I don't understand what is going on. They told me that they are working on it at the moment that they will get back to me shortly. So, fingers crossed.

Eligibility criteria: NTL after having my passport with ILR
Method of application: NCS Westminister
Date of application: 11/12/2013
Payment method : Debit Card Details
Date of receipt by UKBA: 13/12/2013
Date of acknowlegment: 25/01/2014 dated 21/01/2014
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 27/01/2014
Date approval received: 22/02/2014, dated 18/02/2014
Date of ceremony: 26/02/2014 (Private)

I will explain my process in detail to help others who might be anxious. Made my application with three CCJs (made arrangments to pay, and enclosed the evidence from Creditors of the arrangements to settle the oustanding debts). Took my docs to NCS Westminister, the helpful lady there phoned home office to enquire about my unusual high number of CCJs.The home office person told the NCS lady that if there is evidence that I had made arrangements to repay, and I do not have bankruptcy and criminal offences and no more than 4 traffic offences then I should sent and try my luck. Application sent, and on the 19/01/2014, the Home office tried to take money from my account, but could not as my bank later told me that it was an unusually high figure. I emailed the cashiers' office, and they asked me to phone on a number provided in my email. I phoned on 21/01/2014 and made payment via phone. Anxious about my CCJs, I decided to use my whole February salary (get paid on 15th each month) to pay the outstanding balances on my CCJs. The creditors send letters to confirm that I had cleared outstanding balances, by 19/02/14. I send these letters to Home Office on 20/02/2014. My approval letter is dated 18/02/2014, so it looks like a decision was made before they received these letters. I have never been so happy. So people do not be anxious, your approvals are on the way. Good luck to everyone.

You are in a pretty messed up situation. You need to phone the home office.

that looks quite bad considering some of the applications of Jan this year are getting approvals and yours is now more than an year!
something has gone wrong somewhere! I hope you have a clean immigration history? Did you apply through NCS or on your own? not getting anything for 1 year makes me think that maybe your application did not even reach UKBA. Has your fee been debited?

in my application there is a wife and son, does this make any difference?

Thanks anyone
No not at all, this is not a sign that something wrong in your application.. Don't worry, yours is quite recent application and it will just take its own time and enquiries by HO

I have called HO today and guess what I am of those End of Oct huge applications backlog..they are giving approvals letters to Nov, Dec and started some of Jan and forgot Oct 24th - 30th.

They just said that something been dispatched to me today so hopefully will receive this week.. Fingers TIGHTLY Crossed.. :) :!: :!:
Did they actually say something about the Oct 24th - 30th apps?
