I called the ukba and was told that my application is incomplete! Does anyone know what that means? I am soo confused

Hello, Just call the phone number 08706067766 and they mentioned that a decision had been made on the 17/02/14 but could not tell me any more detail. Is this usual or do they let you know if you have been successful over the phone? I am worried this is bad news.

When did you apply?

HI I applied on the 27/11/13
and got the acknowledgement letter on the 16/01/14

Interesting. This means they are still processing Nov apps, despite the January approvals also coming through.

as i told u that i got my ILR on 23 oct 2013 but i got merried on 21 sep 2010 so if u r merrird with british citizen for 3 yrs then u can apply for citizenship as i spoke to solicistor but sme some solicistor told me that u have to apply after 1 year ILR.

Hi my wife applied on this basis. we have been married for 7 years and we have been here since. after I got my ILR she got her spous visa in Nov 2011 then I got my citizenship in Jan 2013. we applied for her ILR in Oct 2013 in person then after 5 days we applied for her Citizenship cause she has been on spous visa for 2 years and been in the UK for more than 3 years and wife of British citizen. spouses are exempted from 1 year ILR if they have been in the uk for 3years + and had 2 years spous visa

No its not true that you have to keep ILR for full 1 year. Condition is that you have lived in england for 3 years n completed your 2 years spouse which u must hav before applying ILR

now Home office starts january applications and if they have any query so they should have written us.

The letter says you have 21 days from the date of the letter to book your ceremony in. Your ceremony will be normally 4 weeks time or depends on the rush!

Private ceremonies can happen just the next day! But general ones take almost 4 weeks to book one.

hi, thats not what i meant , if i get a letter of approval lets say on the 10th of april , and i'll be back home early may, would i still be able to book a ceremony? how long do i have from receiving a letter of approval to book a ceremony?

Hello, how and what would be classified as complex case?

We are in the same situation. I applied on the 14th/11/2013 money taken on the 13/01/2014 with acknowledgment few days later. Ever since then, nothing has happened. I called Monday last last and was told that is been dealt with. I called today as well and was told that the application is incomplete. I am now worried because January 2014 applications are now coming through while mine is still hanging.
