The poster may be confusing this with the passport application process, where interviews are standard.itsahmedawan wrote:i never ever heard this thing from any 1 even on this forum that interview before approval.a6v wrote: I have heard that people had to sit for an interview before they got the approval. Hi ttoe nice to c you againTTOE wrote:I really think it depends on who you get through to. I guess they have a system which is a bit complex for some of the guys on the call.
What do you say to this, somebody's experience this; called in the morning she was told approval letter sent out already and later realised she did not ask what date the letter got sent out, then called again and was told application is incomplete.
How about that?

The home office phone number customer service is complete bollocks. I had called on 13th Feb and they said that my application was in the process of being looked at. They had already dispatched the approval letter on 12th !! For the amount of money being charged for this process, it really needs to be more efficient and accountable.

Dear all,
Thanks everyone for your contributions and support. Finally received the approval today.
I would like to give some further information about my application. I did not send any originals or did I use NCS, instead I only sent certified photocopies and made a self application. It only cost me 50£ to get it certified by a solicitor although others may charge a lot more. It did save me a lot of time though as I was not able to get any NCS appointments to my preference nor did I have to take any time off work. Having previously made various successful UKBA applications I trusted myself to get this one right too and indeed I have.
All the best to those waiting.
Regards,
