Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Guys, I know this post is not for here but I've got a question.
I received my documents last week and the letter, stating that I should wait for an invitation to a ceremony, which may take approximately 2 weeks but as far as I can see, it normally comes straight after the documents. Should I call the HO and ask them whether they have actually sent it or wait?

when i got my citizenship last january i called my council and booked ceremony u can call them and check if they recieved the letter from HO

But in the letter it's written that I should wait to receive an invitation and If I don't receive it in the next 2 weeks, then I have to contact them and ask.

You should probably just follow the instructions in the letter, which say to wait for two weeks and then get in touch.

some of those who submitted just before us and just after us recieved thier results but my wife did not recieve hers yet.

I have just called the UKBA and they told me the application still under process!!

Strangely I have received a letter from Southampton registrar's office congratulating me on attaining British citizenship and inviting me to a ceremony. I think this is because HO use second class mail which takes a few days to arrive. I expect the approval letter sometime by the end of this week. I will repost when I have received the letter.
